Brett has served for over 13 years, first enlisted on 24 June 2012 as a medic. He later attended Officer Candidate School and commission as an Infantry Officer on 11 September 2015. He has held multiple positions with the Missouri National Guard Association (MONGA) to include: 110th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade Officer Representative, Resolutions Committee Chair, and the Army Awards Committee Chair. He is serving as the Area IV Army Company Grade Officer Representative for the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS). Brett has earned a Master of Healthcare Administration from William Woods University and a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Disaster Management from Northwest Missouri State University. He is happily married to his Wife, Brianna, and they have a son, Renley.
